Recyclers extracted significant amounts of precious metals from donated devices. Gold, silver, and bronze were among the materials recovered. The total amount of gold extracted was around 32 kilograms, while silver and bronze weighed approximately 3,500 kilograms and 2,200 kilograms, respectively.

These metals were obtained from a large collection of used electronics. The devices, which included phones, were donated over a period of two years.
